(5) Make sure to wear sunscreen every day, especially on your face, back of the neck and any exposed skin—even on the days with overcast, UV rays are still making their way through the cloud coverage
(6) Reduce the amount of sunshine coming into your houseto keep your house cool. This can help keep the electricity bill on the low side by limiting the amount of sunlight entering the home—maybe even try blackout curtains
(7) Gardening and yard work—If you like to garden or must do yard work, try wearing a wide brimmed hat, and grab a cold/frozen rag to drape around your neck to help fight heatstroke
(8) Exercising—try working out during the early morning or evening when the sun is not as prominent, but mostly try to workout inside, preferably at a gym with air conditioning.
